Hi, I’m Jon - the Director and Owner of IntroBeats.

Playing music has been a huge part of my life for over 20 years. Starting as a drummer and over time, learning to play guitar and keyboard. I have played in bands since I was 14 and currently teach in primary schools working with students of all ages and abilities to perform in rock bands.

By doing this as my full time job, I have developed a passion for helping beginners take their very first steps into playing music - whether that’s playing their first beat on the drums, chord on the guitar or note on a keyboard.

IntroBeats has been created to offer friendly, supportive private lessons designed especially for beginners. My goal is to make learning music approachable, exciting and fun.
